The new Labouré-Roi winemaking facility in Nuits-Saint-Georges is indisputably one of the finest in Burgundy. Under the dynamic leadership of Armand Cottin and his brother Louis who later joined him at the firm, Labouré-Roi has become what is today the third largest source of Burgundy wines. The Cottin brothers are dedicated to offering high quality wines at fair prices for the discerning consumer. The Labouré-Roi family of Burgundy wines, nearly 85% of which originate in vineyards in the renowned Côte d'Or, includes Premiers Crus, Grands Crus, village wines and regional Burgundies. It also encompasses a range of varietal wines from the south of France and several domaines in the Rhône Valley.

A blend of Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon

Argentina produces 5 times as much wine as Chile but exports a lot less.  This is rapidly changing as the variety and availability of Argentine Cabernets and Malbecs available in the United States is growing every year.  High altitude sites yield the best of South America’s wine grape crop.   Nicolas Catena, one of the men behind High Altitude Malbec / Cabernet believes that new plantings in high altitude regions hold the key to raising the bar on quality levels. Catena has vineyards from 2,900 feet to 5,000 feet in elevation in Mendoza, home to the world's greatest concentration of high-altitude vineyards.
